I had to “find myself”; and so I looked to Jesus

Find yourself; find Jesus, Yeshua

Parson Rayphe; Bibical counseling, deliverance, inner healing, Pastor, home church, small groupsOur calendar is based upon Him.  The entire Bible is centered around Him.  Not even considering before two thousand years ago, He has intimately affected the lives of billions (either directly or indirectly) for thousands of years.  These historical facts are undeniable.   Still,  we choose to live our lives as if He were merely a distant past president.

Colossians 1:19 says that in Jesus, was the “fulness” of God.  Think about that a moment.  Imagine that….  the “fulness of God” dwelt upon and within a man….  Jesus.  And then Colossians 1:20 says that through the blood He shed on the cross, He reconciled ALL things in heaven and on the earth to Himself.

Jesus: The Second Adam
What Adam surrendered to satan, Yeshua took back.  He began the process of reestablishing order; the perfect order that God had originally established before Adam’s fatal mistake.  Just as it was prophesied way back in Genesis 3:15

Revelation 1:8 says the Jesus is the beginning and the end; He which was, is, and is to come.  I confess this is a hard thing to grasp.  I dare say that it is even impossible for the human mind; but still, we must.

Why must we?  Because as undescribably, infinitely vast as these truths are to try to comprehend, what is even more daunting is the reality that if you have entered into covenant with Jesus, He accomplished all He did so that He could share all He has with you.

Are you “In Him”?
To find yourself, look to Jesus.

Depending upon how you count it, approximately 140 times the Bible identifies those in covenant with Jesus (Yeshua) to be “In Him” (or similar wording).  You are a joint heir with Him.  As He has shared His Spirit with you, He has also made provision for you to be one with Him even NOW .

In the words of His disciples; “This is a hard saying, who can hear (understand) it (John 6:60).  Nevertheless, it is truth; it is reality.  He told us that it is impossible to avoid adversity in this life.  But still, the more we can embrace this paradigm, this reality, the more we will live in the life that He desires for us.  A life of blessings, not curses; a life of love, not hate; a life of joy, not pain.

Seek God today.  Put your hand in His and all these things will be added unto you.

I’ll see you out in the field,
Parson Rayphe
