Stand, Go to, Assault! The Message of Freedom Must Go Forth

Parson Rayphe; Bibical counseling, deliverance, inner healing, Pastor, home church, small groupsSpread the message of liberty throughout the land
Second Timothy 4:2 admonishes us to “preach the word; be instant in season, out of season”.   The verbiage “be instant” comes from a Greek word which means “to stand, go to, assault”.  As you can imagine, the word had great military implications during the time of which it was originally written.

For example, look at how the Amplified Bible expresses the meaning of what is being said in this verse.

2 Timothy 4:2
Herald and preach the Word! Keep your sense of urgency [stand by, be at hand and ready], whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable. [Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome, you as preacher of the Word are to show people in what way their lives are wrong.] And convince them, rebuking and correcting, warning and urging and encouraging them, being unflagging and inexhaustible in patience and teaching.

Some will resist the message
Today, there are many in America who either totally reject the truth of freedom in God, or perhaps just don’t want to hear it.

Still, the message of liberty must go forth for ourselves, children and grand-children.  You and I are the ones God has tasked to take His message of freedom, forgiveness, and love, forward; “stand, go to, assault”!

You think you “just can’t”?
Feeling weary, unprepared or just too “messed up” right now? We all have challenges; You are not alone!. Send me a message and let’s talk about it. God loves you and you have a valuable mission to fulfill that He has chosen just for you.  There are many ways to be a part on many fronts.  Specifically for us, there are phone calls to make, outreaches to participate in, finances; many opportunities to participate and make a difference.

I’ll see you out in the field,
Parson Rayphe
